Everything handmade, homemade, and made with love. That is essentially what "The Better Kitchen" is. What started as making cakes and pies for friends and family, soon extended to a low-key brand that was only known by word of mouth. Arleen Bautista, the mastermind behind The Better Kitchen, believes in consistency and excellence in quality—that means everything from choosing the best ingredients, to careful preparations, up to packaging. She says that she always wants everything to be exactly the way she wants it to look, if she's the client herself. Hence, all her products are handmade, prepared by herself, with the help of her, co-conspirator and husband, Benj, as well as her two sidekick daughters, Shanice and Angel.
